Apparently they all have to come now from happy little chickies running around farmer John's barnyard.
I think of that every time I go to the egg section in our local grocery. How happy the "free range" chickens are that laid the eggs that I'm about to buy, and how that's going to be sooooo much healthier and better for the environment than eggs laid by tortured, Geneva-convention-violating chickens.

Same with the milk that I buy, which have to come from happy cows. And as the commercial goes, "Happy cows come from California."

I see them roaming around the Palo Alto countryside every time I drive up the I-280. I know they're happy because they're grazing on prime real estate, where every square meter of land costs six digits.
