Actually it's fractional but typically called QoS (Quality of Service) since it guarantees a slice of the bandwidth. It's implemented with virtual channels. The movie and video industry (SMPTE and FC-AV SWIG) have voted in favor of it. There needs to be Host Bus Adaptors and Switches designed to the SPec. I wouldn't hold my breath, mid 99 is likely. Roy
