I'm familiar with most all trading systems.

If you are trading at home, there will be an occasional
outage on any of the systems, not always do to software problems,
but to connections to the Nasdaq, ISP, ect. No firm has perfected this yet.

Trading at a SOES house does offer a better connection. But I'm not
willing to pay the price of leaving my comfortable home office. My executions are confirmed by the time I finish clicking the mouse to send the order. No complaints. I probably won't even see a visual difference when I upgrade from my 28.8 to a xDSL modem.

As for a support group when I lose (rarely), and a group to party with when I have a fantastic day...I have my family.

I'm on #daytraders chat channel with 450+ other traders to share
info and trades with. No need to sit in a sweaty room and be emotionally influenced to make a high volume of trades.
