Folks, the words Nazi and Hitler are so emotionally charged that they make even the most innocuous statement into a loaded assertion. Ed and Herb have the same hand writing (innocuous). Ed and Hitler have the same hand writing... Notice the second statement on its face ought to be innocuous. So what if Ed handwrites like Hitler? For all we know Hitler might have had very elegant longhand. But we no longer can separate a single action from Hitler from the rest of his persona. So monstrous were his actions. It is better then to avoid the comparison altogether. All of this is encapsulated in the meme: An internet discussion that includes the word Nazi has outlived its usefulness.
