We sure need something to change here in BC this year. Currently, most snowpacks around the province are at less than half normal levels for this time of year, with many as low as 25-30% of normal. This could still change in the next few months, but so far the signs point to another summer filled with drought and fire.

I am planning to work at the Canadian Beach Ultimate Championships here in Vancouver a few kilometres from my home in late August, but it seems entirely possible that by that time I will be confined indoors by smoke.
