Yeah,

LOL

As I'm currently (and unfortunately) living in western WA, I'm fully aware that the Cascadia Subduction Zone could crack again with a magnitude 9 earthquake at any time. Around 300 year average between occurrences and it's about due. Unlike you, I'm high enough above sea level that I won't be douched off by a tsunami when it cracks, but the whole Puget Sound region will be unlivable for weeks after with no power and water.

My Jeep has a 400 mile range with a full tank of gas and I keep it full, just in case I need to get the hell outta here in an emergency. I also keep 10 gallons of ethanol free gas, treated with Sta-Bil, in my storage shed as a back up.

You, on the other hand, will be SOL in dealing with the aftermath of the next "Big One". If the ocean doesn't get you, broken solar panels and no 10 gallon cans of electricity in your garage mean a dead Tesla with no way to get away. Bummer..
