Your post prompted me to search Clunes on Amazon where I rediscovered an excellent based-on-real-crime drama he did called "Manhunt" then found they released a new 4-part series that we binged last night. The first series was very good. Season 2 is a true story how the same detective was called into work an unsolved 17-year spate of burglaries and rapes and finally gets the guy. Intricate plot about real detective processes without the usual gore or, more important, all the usual yelling by senior detectives. Since this is based on a real detective's memoirs, I'm inclined to believe it's closer to reality. Recommended.
