Roy,

If I understand Class 4 correctly, it would offer the performance advantages of Class 1, but allow the bandwidth to be broken up into smaller pieces. This would prevent the blocking effect of a dedicated Class 1 connection, and provide the QoS that Class 2/3 lacks.

I realize this might be a subjective question, but who do you think makes the best Fibre Channel adapters? I've heard good things about Qlogic, but Adaptec is easier for me to get. The biggest factor for me is solid drivers for NetWare and NT.

I'm still pondering my storage dilemma, and I have pretty much decided to wait for Fibre Channel. There isn't that much price difference anymore, and the lure of attaching a bunch of disks onto a single loop is quite attractive, even if I give up some performance. I probably can't afford a MKII, unless ANCR goes WAY UP <g>. Are you guys (G2) shipping anything yet? Any free samples? <g>
