It's my view they would be defunded within a year if they didn't tow the line on AGW. The same with the synchronised media. If anyone speaks out, they need to find a another line of business soon afterwards

Yours is an interesting theory but it doesn't hold water. While at WSU working on my first physics degree I also worked part time as an engineer at KWSU-TV, a PBS affiliate at the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications.,

A great paying job as I already had my FCC First Class Radiotelephone license which was necessary to work in engineering at any TV or Radio Broadcast station in the U.S. at the time. Having a degree in Electronic Communications also helped nail the job.

So I needed more electives to graduate and since I worked in the broadcasting complex on campus I took some classes in Journalism which ended up being really helpful later at the U of W.

If you knowingly wrote a false news story at just about any newspaper in the country (for example the NYT, The Seattle Times, Washington Post) and got caught you would be fired! Just that simple.

The same applies to broadcast television in this country. Not so on cable TV!

The regs are different.

And by the way the last time I checked the U of W received the most grant money of any college or university in the country.

Federal or otherwise.
