i use the captions and find i never really hear or understand what they are saying. why, because i am reading the captions. i wear them since 6 months ago. my doctor recommended them as major health reports say not hearing leads to dementia. Prior i could not always understand what was being said on the phone. i have experienced improvement in that area.
