I'm happy to learn of your success after 6 months with hearing aids. I'm on my second issue going into about 7 years with them. This new pair is supposed to allow adjustments that address the "muffled" effect I have, with or without the aids. I seem to get along on the telephone pretty well, but TV is usually difficult. I've experimented with volume changes without much benefit. I'm going to try doing some research on this and may need to find more specialization than the VA offers. I'm 87 and this condition may just be all I have to look forward to for the duration.
