btw I forgot to add that "Thermal radiation" is just electromagnetic radiation, same as light, but just a longer wavelength. Everything emits Thermal Radiation if they are above zero degrees Kelvin. If other bodies are around, emitting thermal radiation, the body will be receiving thermal radiation too.

The process goes on until equilibrium is achieved.
