I'm impressed with the degree of control your equipment gives you over the quality of sound it manages. I guess I'll have to rely on an audiologist to fit me with hearing aids that approach what you must have paid a fortune for. At my age, and my waning interest in most of what TV has to offer, I don't want to pay much for better quality sound. The little bit of news and even less sporting events makes up most of my usage.

Curiously, I do watch quite a few YouTube instructional videos that support my interest in watercolor painting. I don't seem to have as much problem with their sound quality... and that puzzles me. The same with the numerous instruction DVDs I also spend time with. Broadcast TV is where the problem occurs.
