Yes, with a non-competitive product like MSN MSFT doesn't win.

And yet when MSFT first included MSN the DOJ considered taking action to prevent them from doing so stating that it would take over the market just because it was on the desktop. Not so, obviously, and in fact MSFT has voluntarily added it's competitor AOL to the desktop since, because it was in the interest of their Windows customers to do so. Market forces working beautifully as usual.
