Mohan, Yacov is talking about a different segment of business.
He's clearly talking about individual or small(est) businesses
who/which go to stores, check it out, and pay by cash or check.

That's not Dell's market either in the US or in Europe (I
am drawing an inference about Europe from the US; I don't
have first-hand knowledge of Europe but that's their US market).

To my mind there's no real contradiction here. Dell's business
model is different. This observation doesn't seem relevant
to me.
