I'm not doubting the author's conclusions; but, I can't easily find anything solid about the terms of the Q/MSFT nearing its end. (I found the announcement of the 2016 deal, but didn't locate the length of the agreement.) This is from a 2021 article by the same author: "One thing I wasn't able to learn is when the deal will expire, only that it's the thing holding back other chip vendors from competing in the space." Can anyone else here help on that point?
