True.

Also, sometimes there is a reason for something working for one person but not another (besides genetics).

Example - I found Voltaren cream works pretty well for muscle issues.

Everywhere except my hip where I had intermittent excruciating pain.
MRI did show hip issues that could be causing the pain.

Then much later on, I found out the actual source of the pain was not in the hip - turned out, the pain could be categorized as "referred", so any treatment of the hip muscle pretty much did nothing.
Strangely, there was no pain in the other area.

Fixed the other issue and the hip pain is gone.

Some people that I recommended Voltaren to also had no effect - perhaps their body just doesn't respond to it, or maybe it was just like my hip.
