IMO Dell would have been here long ago....and hopefully the good news that has accumulated over the past two months will now have a chance to be dropped on the shareholders....I feel it very well may have been the strategy of Dell not to release info during that period of negativism ....the pack of lies that the media and others were attempting to spread would only have diluted the good news of Dell..... If I were Michael Dell I would be ready to burn the naysayers with this announcement....IMO he is full of pride....and it would give me great satisfaction to smile tomorrow....Dell told us longs not to panic and basically only one other bit of info...."we will benefit from the Asian Crisis".....Now, when was the last time Dell had this long of a dry spell of info that didn't send the stock??????? Oh, yeah I forgot about the $6 million/day...but, that statement too was IMO diluted and not expanded on....... Tomorrow will hopefully be a conference call the Dell longs can scream about for years to come....if you got through that correction and stayed loyal Michael just very well may be giving us a long over due Christmas present..... Yes, If you have also noticed the thread and the estimates....well, that was what hit me the past two days...and then this afternoon....geee....only a fool would figure this number of people will be wrong....and frankly....I have the greatest respect for some of these people on the thread...their knowledge of this company is far greater than the guys out there that are getting paid for their predictions.... After tomorrow, just try telling someone on this thread Dell isn't still stealing market share...or growing at the _____ rate....or buying back more shares.....or expanding so rapidly in Europe that they can't anticipate how many more employees they will need....or their servers are selling so fast this industry is a future not even we anticipated growing at this rate.... Hey, who knows....make up your own conclusions.....but, I have my money on Michael Dell..... Best, Kemble
