Looks like folks in "fly over country" still not doing the uptake.
I'm going to simplify the problem because it's easier to discuss this way.

EVs are still considered "luxury cars."

Electric pickup trucks, electric family cars, electric semis, they all aren't going to work. Only those who have disposable income to spend on "luxury cars" will even bother with EVs.

Even the usage model for charging depends on the owners owning their own homes, or at least living in an apartment complex with charging stations. And only the higher-end apartment complexes have EV charging stations. You know, the kind with tennis courts, gyms, conference rooms, security guards, etc.

Last year was a big push to make as many EVs as possible because Brandonomics was going to drive demand.

This year, not so much.
