Beneficial Owner Filings 2/17 Rawley F. Taplett reports he owns 586,732 shares (8.06%) 2/12 Timothy J. Schneebeck reports he owns 336,600 shares (4.8%) 1/7 Estate of Edwin J. Schneebeck reports sole ownership of 1,290,658 shares (21.45%) and shares 100,107 shares with Bethel J. Schneebeck. Bethel is in control of the estate. Speculating here... suppose the Schneebeck family is interesting in selling and Mr. Taplett (now 76 and losing a long-time partner) is also interested. That's 2,314,097 shares (39.8%)! And I don't think this group would be interested in discounting the value of the company. Speculating still... Possible buyers? General Motors is a popular choice. More importantly, less than 10% of IMCO's shares are institutionally held. The balance of power could shift to new holders interested in supporting the company.
