Second actuators was another of my ideas for performance but seemed obviously more expensive than just more heads. Given the feedback I got on even small cost increases, I thought I'd resist asking it.

It seems to me that a second set of independently operating actuators wouldn't have any of the downsides of my earlier approach in terms of an unrealizable real-world performance boost. In a busy, server based drive the price increase could be worth it.
