I see how the logic works. If you don't look, you can't find.
That's exactly how Tenchu's Fifth Rule of Partisan Politics works.

By posting links, you can force the other guy to waste time looking up information that either has nothing to do with what you are arguing about, or is complete misinformation.

The goal is to waste the other guy's time while you continue to post even more links.

It's all lies, of course, but it works because you are on the offense, and your credibility (or complete lack thereof) is irrelevant when it comes to partisan politics.

P.S. - Posting another link from 1990 about some "secret army" back during the Cold War era is yet another example. Keep at it; Tenchu's Seven Rules of Partisan Politics continues to apply even today.
