News stories written by ignorant reporters are not a court of law.
They're reporting on the facts.

Trump's lawyers never requested a jury trial. They never gave an explanation as to why.
He wrote almost a whole page about it.
Which is 90% fluff (i'M a vIcTiM wItCh hUnT wItCh hUnT wItCh hUnT) and 10% lies.

Not one relevant fact in Trump's rant. Not one explanation for why his lawyers failed to request a jury trial.

There are only two explanations that fit the facts:

1) His lawyers suck ass.

2) He told them NOT to request a jury trial so that he can lie about being denied a jury trial.

Trump didn't get to where he is by being completely st00pid, so I'm going with #2.
