Maceng2,
A number of scientific sources indicate we were near the point where organic life on Earth fails.
We aren't even close to that point.

Earth's environment survived an asteroid strike. It was severely catastrophic, especially for the dinosaurs, but organic life survived.

Whoever is claiming that organic life is on the brink of failure just because of a little more CO2 in the air is full of it. They aren't making any claims that can be backed up with any data whatsoever. They're just making hypotheses and passing them off as "dire warnings."
