I guess i don't really understand this. Because the way i understood is, that reason why gt interactive lost money this quarter is because 1)they bought Single Trac Entertainment for 14 million dollars.
2) Result of canceled mprs merger costing them 1.1 million 3)prepaid royalty due to change in accounting method. Costing them 73.8 million.

First reason i believe was acquisition. it's really is not a loss. I see that as investment which they could use to generate more revenue.
Second- special charge of 1.1 million is not that much. Look at mprs they lost much more(i don't remember exact number)

Third -Isn't that like paying for something before hand. Basically company is paying for today that they will get tomorrow? Almost like down payment?. If that's the case it's not really loss either.

The company has 71,867 million in cash. that's not bad.
I was actually rather pleased with the report. Correct me if i am mistaken.
