BREAKING: Donald Trump attempts a desperate Hail Mary pass to save himself from financial ruin and begs Judge Arthur Engoran to delay the enforcement of his $355 million fine for one month.

In a pathetic letter to the judge, Trump accused Attorney General Letitia James of an “unseemly rush” to enforce the historic judgement because she submitted a proposal to judge for signature just days after the ruling.

Of course, there is nothing actually “unseemly” about wanting to enforce a ruling. Letitits James is just doing her job.

As it stands, Trump has only 30 days from when a judgement is entered to post bond and then appeal.

The simple fact of the matter is that Trump can’t afford to pay such a massive fine while keeping his presidential campaign alive — and he knows it.

Trump’s shady attorney said that if the judge enters the attorney general’s judgment they “request the Court stay enforcement of that Judgment for thirty (30) days. Given that the court-appointed monitor continues to be in place, there is no prejudice to the Attorney General in briefly staying enforcement to allow for an orderly post-Judgment process, particularly given the magnitude of Judgment.”

Unsurprisingly, Letitia James’ office opposed Trump’s request in a formal filing, saying that there is “no room for further debate.” An attorney for the state of New York further added that Trump completely failed to provide any real rationalization for a 30-day extension.

Clearly, Trump’s goose is cooked.
