I think many people will die due to lack of water for crops and to drink
It's not just CO2 that is causing some areas to dry out.

Overcultivatiion, over-urbanization, and just plain irresponsible development accounts for a huge portion of that trend.

Eight billion people on this earth are going to have a marked effect on the climate, especially as the poorer half starts to modernize.

There are just way too many variables to simply blame CO2 and predict that it alone will cause "one billion deaths over the next century."

Anyone making that prediction should NOT be called a "scientist."
