"I give you penicillin Saved my life in 1962. I had a staph infection in the right calcanous bone marrow of my right foot. I was in isolation for two weeks in a hospital. If the staph had spread to my bloodstream it would have been over in hours without penicillin. They had to open the bone to drain the infection with a pump that dripped the liquid penicillin into the bone. Fortunately I was not allergic to penicillin otherwise I would not be here today.
