Wharfie, And I argue that you are totally wrong, with the exception of smog, which keeps us cooler. You're still completely and 100% focused on temperatures.
The climate is about more than air temperature.
It's about air quality.
It's about precipitation.
It's about tides.
It's about fertility, soil composition, fauna, etc.
It's about bodies of water and the associated aquatic life.
It's about mountains and valleys and microclimates and natural terrain features.
And yes, it's also about human development, including roads, buildings, runoff, pollution, etc.
Temperature is but one of many inputs into this vast ecosystem of ours.
And despite what the AlGoreithm claims, this planet does NOT have a fever.
Nor is the globe cooking, despite what Cornell engineer Bill Nye claims.
I've seen all the claims. I've seen the models. I'm an expert when it comes to models with highly complex variables and interactions.
And there is nothing that convinces me that life on Earth will end if the air temperature rises by 1.5-2.0 degrees Celsius.
