GBD backs the idea of herd immunity. That’s plain irresponsible and wrong. I’ll go with the public health authorities and not some minority of misguided “scientists”. Imagine if they adopted that strategy with bubonic plague and smallpox, etc, etc.. The American Public Health Association and 13 other public-health groups in the United States warned in a joint open letter that the "Great Barrington Declaration is not grounded in science and is dangerous".
