How to Spot Bullshishka: Did RuZZia really destroy a Patriot missile battery?
Russia claims shooting down launcher, loading vehicle of US Patriot air defense system in Ukraine
Of course not. It's laughable on its face. Here's what RuZZia claimed:
"Operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile and artillery forces of the armed forces of the Russian Federation hit a launcher and a transport-loading vehicle of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system manufactured in the United States," the ministry said in a statement. Also, an S-200 anti-aircraft guided missile, eight HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, as well as the Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) guided aerial bomb, converted for hitting ground targets, were destroyed, the ministry said. There's a video of the Patriot launcher supposedly getting destroyed, but even that video clearly shows that the truck being blown away, possibly by a RuZZian glide bomb, doesn't even look like a Patriot.
But wait! There's more ...
Eight HIMARS launchers were destroyed as well! That brings the grand total to, what, 100 out of 45 launchers destroyed thus far? Amazing, isn't it.
Buuuuut wait! There's more ...
They claim to have also destroyed a JDAM, which was "converted for hitting ground targets."
Really? Last time I checked, a JDAM was originally designed to hit ground targets. No conversion needed, so for the RuZZian Ministry of Offense to make this claim is completely st00pid.
"So what Tenchu? RuZZia lies all the time. Why is this meaningful?"

Another RuZZian AWACS, which costs well over $300M, was recently shot down.
Unlike fighter jets, which RuZZia continues to make a handful of per year, these A-50s can't easily be replaced. Now there are only an estimated 7 A-50s left, and RuZZia will be VERY reluctant to fly them close to the front lines anymore.
Here's the thing. Every time RuZZia loses something big, like an AWACS or a naval vessel, they ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make up Bullshishka in response.
The bigger the Bullshishka, the bigger the confirmation that RuZZia is unintentionally making.
In this case, it was hard to deny that RuZZia lost yet another $300M AWACS. Another "smoking accident," another incident of "friendly fire," whatever, it's just another line item in the long and growing bill that PooTin wants his Zombies to pay for.
