We are seeing a second time big biz has interfered (imho).

It makes sense for cities to have electric vehicles as they cause less pollution, especially public transport.

Electric vehicles were popular and a booming industry in early 20th century. Then came cheap oil. The Rockerfellers and Big Oil made sure Electric Vehicles went out of business.

Electric Trams are an outstanding example.

But now I think a new trick is being played. Make oil a scarce resource so you can charge more money for it.

Gasoline is an excellent fuel. If entrepreneurs and scientists were left to their own devices it could become and even cleaner fuel too. I expect the same is true of coal. We could be in a much better place today.

But we all have to skip and jump through this CO2 warming baloney.

Just think of it, what a waste of time, money, and space.

Electrics and renewables are fine, just let them develop as the natural market requires.

Unfortunately some always think they know better.

Here some history, the plain version.
