Hello again, KTSinvest.

Did I mention that I was an engineer. I was an aerospace engineer and worked here in Houston as a contractor for NASA. I did spend 5 years in St. Louis. Transferred there in '94 and back to Houston in '99. I'm retired now but I am staying just about as busy as I was when I was "working".

As for my losing stocks, I would not consider my biggest losers for a buy. I am afraid that they may have reach the point of no return but at this point I might as well keep holding as Ted said to do. Maybe one of them will catch fire or maybe some other company will acquire one of them at a price higher than the market price and I'll recover some of my investment.

If you read my postings for the last year you may find one that explains why I am overloaded with losers. This trading system sets this up in my opinion. I had a lot of big winners in 2021 and 2022. I sold many at about 200% or more. But that left me with a higher percentage of my portfolio being losers. Then, I also made the mistake of buying a few stocks as experiments rather than true TW selections. I don't report these experiments if the stocks didn't at least have a TW pattern in the past that would have made it a buy even if I was late in my buy. After all, this is a Ted Warren board and I see no reason to discuss stocks that were not bought by the TW method.

When I mentioned there were certain types of equities that I2000 and I don't buy, at least not from our screens for TW stocks, I wanted to say that those types include funds, warrents, ADRs, or Reits. There may be more but I don't remember what at this moment.

I personally don't like Limited Partnerships except to buy within my IRA accounts. The reporting each year on my income tax is just too complicated and the companies sometimes don't send all the forms until later than the regular filing date. Last year I had to file for an extension and even though I use TurboTax, it was difficult figuring out all the entries. (I am trying not to have to go to an accountant or tax specialist.)

Enough for now -- it is getting late.
