Whatever - who gives a damn, I'm not playing guessing games with this crap. I'm writing this off as what better be my biggest mistake of the year and WILL remember from now on that fundamentals and managment matter. Time to look for values in banks and oil. Screw tech dollar stocks. As good investors (which I learned today I am not) say, 90% of dollar stocks got there because they deserve it. Took what remained of my VLNC money and bought APCO which is also a dollar stock but is run in a manner that is 180 degrees opposite, never fails to execute its plans, and is going up 20% every 3 months.

BTW I saw that someone on this thread was looking at TAVA (TPRO) on one hand while VLNC sank on the other. Man, it reminds me of the telemarketing scam that was uncovered last week where people who were victims of other telemarketing scams were targeted and ripped off a second time. They were told that if they sent in a few grand the company will track down and repay them the money they lost the first time. TPRO and VLNC at the same time? Yikes.

After this morning's fun I found it a lot easier to give a jaundiced eye to anything in my portfolio where management has been anything less than totally forthcoming and the numbers and plans are not totally on the table for all to see. Sold three other positions and if they all end up going higher I don't care. I'm not good enough at this to make money on speculation.

Phil
