Wharfie,
Gender dysphoria is a medical problem; so is cancer.
Drawing an analogy between the two is laughable on its face.

Look at this cAnCeR sUrViVoR and how she became the first one to win the NCAA women's swimming championship:

Penn’s Lia Thomas becomes first transgender woman to win NCAA swimming championship

Then there's Bruce Jenner, AP Male Athlete of the Year in 1976, before he was afflicted with cAnCeR and had to be treated with female hormones.

Now as a side effect of his cAnCeR tReAtMeNt, he is now a "she," Bruce is now "Caitlyn," and "she" is the winner of the ESPN Arthur Ashe Courage Award of 2015:

Caitlyn Jenner vows to 'reshape the landscape' in ESPYS speech (ESPN)

So stunning! Much brave! (Until "she" became a Trump supporter ...)
