Treating an illness always comes first. There were several ways to do that.

My mother was a nurse, she told me that was the protocol many decades ago.

Vaccines maybe are OK, once tested and approved, but are a longer term solution if they work.

Unfortunately the Corona Virus manages to mutate rendering any existing vaccine ineffective.

From what I understand from my very limited knowledge of medical matters, Vitamin D boosts the immune system, as does Zinc.

This is the advice I took from Doctor Z and the FLCCC. Dr Z got that recommendation from Dr Ralf Baric, a specialist working in the field of viruses.

All I can say is it works for me.
