T Well yeah, if you only count those who already purchased Teslas, you're only counting those who got over the range anxiety Well as you well know, it's just an education process for the masses. Adoption rates will pick up in the long run when folks learn of all the advantages and economics of BEV's. As for me, I essentially reduced by gas consumption by 85% (75 percentage points because of the portion I spend driving in all-electric mode, 10 percentage points because even in hybrid mode, I still get double the MPG of my other cars. Oh I agree, for local driving the Prius is pretty good. But it's a very complicated car (hybrids). Your slapping an electric drive on top of an ICE. I've worked on enough of them over the years.. BEV's win any way you look at it long term. E
