Hi KTSinvest,

I can only answer for myself. I will only look at the 12-to-18-month range in relation to the longer time frame. After a slow but steady decline, that time frame could give us an indication of what might be ahead. Another example would be near the end of a long triangle which could point to a possible increase ahead. These are just my thoughts. I am sure others might have more to offer than I have given.
