Coal is far from dead.

The US actually exported more coal this year at record levels. We just use less of it, because natural gas is cheap here.

Coal will continue to grow globally. The emerging markets will consume more coal (electricity generation) as their per capita wealth grows. They really don't care about all the green BS that developed countries get baraged with.

The huge population growth of the world is in Asia, India, and Africa. As the youth of those regions get hip tp cars vs. motorcycles, their demand for the cheapest form of energy will explode. Look at India, they flat out said they'll buy Russian crude at a bargain price and China is consuming a DOUBLE of Russian crude.

Bottomline they don't give rats azz about John Kerry's spin. They want advanced lifestyles like we take for granted in the USA.

The UN and WEF are spinning our youth with BS about climate change. It will guarantee that we will have expensive energy.

Guess where in a competitive world, the manufacturing of goods will take place - the places where electricity is cheapest or the emerging markets.

As those areas and their populations grow. the demand for coal is destined to grow.

So it is written, so it will be.
