Phil:

I hope you check back in at least once more to see this. I've felt your frustration (and clearly today you were not alone) before. However, over the last couple years I've been reading books on stock investing and my efforts have been steadily improving. One of the books that turned me around the most was "Investment Psychology Explained" by Martin Pring. Its not too long or dense and is filled with lots and lots of good RULES that help keep all the bad emotions that make us lousy investors under control.

In fact, since reading his book, the only time I've lost serious money is when I disobeyed my own rules. In the last half of '97, which was not generally a good period for the market indexes, my portfolio was up 25%.

As an aside, and back to this thread's topic, I still believe that energy storage in today's technological environment is a critical resource. WHEN Valence produces I also believe that the market will validate that opinion. I'm long VLNC.
