Breast fed is crucial, and so is the nutrition of the mother because she can't provide milk without having essential nutrients in her food = such as zinc, vitamin D, vitamin B12, vitamin C, which are all commonly deficient in women [and everyone else but vegetarians are mostly women]. Nutrition deficiency is on a par with nuclear war in harm to humans. Nutrition is due to ignorance and since we lack a feedback loop so we can know our nutritional state, there's ubiquitous bad nutrition of many types.
