This is worth watching in its entirety, especially the big bang at the end.. The sinking of the RuZZian ship Caesar Kunikov actually happened last month, but this is the first time I'm seeing footage from the perspective of RuZZian sailors trying to shoot at the Ukrainian drones:



Notice how many of the tracer rounds are bouncing off the water. I'm not sure firing machine guns into the water at shallow angles is all that effective in taking out underwater drones.

(And by "effective," I mean getting above a 95% rate of interception. No use bragging about an 80% interception rate when all that's needed to turn the ship into a sub is 20%.)

P.S. - No doubt the U.S. Department of the Boat People (h/t Ryan McBeth) is paying close attention to the demise of RuZZia's Black Sea fleet ...
