Because he did that in spades!
Remember Trump just said, out loud, that if a NATO member did not pay their dues he would tell Putin to do whatever in hell he wanted to do"!
PS he cannot do that as it would go against article 5!
And most think he will try and pull us out of NATO and there would be his excuse!
For four years Trump was destroying the relationships we had with our allies and forming new one's with our enemies, Russia, China, North Korea, Hungry and Turkey-all dictatorships of one kind or another.
E.g. he cancelled our yearly joint military exercises with South Korea, a very good ally, as he fell in love with the worst butcher on the planet Kim Jung Un.
He said he trusted Putin over our own intelligence, etc.
Most NATO members hate Trump and he knows it. And if he is reelected he will bully them out of retribution, which he loves to do.
So I ask you:" are we safer with Putin, Kim and Xi as allies rather than NATO!?
