AI has brought us to the moment of truth.

When science combines AI with quantum computers, that can create intelligence so powerful we cannot even imagine it! And can be so misused!

So, can the human species step up to the plate and survive?

I think what we are going through happens all over the universe all the time i.e. when species develop technology.

Some species make through and some don't, probably most don't.

And the only chance we have is to increase our intellect. Science has found we can increase our average thinking ability by 60 IQ points, to use a crude measure, simply by education.

Just as we can increase our strength by working out.

But most still don't understand the importance of this ability, but it is what allows us to go from concrete thinkers to abstract thinkers, and boy will we need that to survive!

This is called the Flynn effect.
