The MAGA folks are being played by Putin! Putin is using the NATO bullshit as an excuse, just as he claims he is defending Russia from NATO and Ukraine. His henchman Medvedev just spelled it out when he said:" Ukraine is Russia and needs to come home". How does that comport with his NATO claims? He knows NATO or Ukraine are NO threat to him. Putin is a brutal tyrant, just like Hitler, that has invaded and run rough shod over most of his adjacent countries. What excuse is there for his invasion or attacks of other countries like Georgia, Belarus, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, etc? You are acting like Putin is the victim of western hegemony. And when you defend him you are hurting your own country. < There was a chance of cooperation over the Ukraine situation... it could have been fixed.
