There are other methods of statistical analysis that cast doubt on Hamas' figures, but here's one more that I thought was noteworthy:
Taken together, Hamas is reporting not only that 70% of casualties are women and children but also that 20% are fighters. This is not possible unless Israel is somehow not killing noncombatant men, or else Hamas is claiming that almost all the men in Gaza are Hamas fighters.
Go figure. Hamas' numbers don't measure up to statistical analysis.

"But but Tenchu, who gives a Brandon about accuracy? Does it matter whether it's 30K or 20K? Does it matter whether the percentage that are women and children is 70%, or 50%? Even 30% is way too much!"

It matters because Hamas has a vested interest in lying.

It matters because Hamas has a vested interest in maximizing civilian casualties.

If the true numbers are still horrific, if the true numbers are still high enough to count as evidence of gEnOcIdE, then why should Hamas do anything else but report on the truth?

Because Hamas is lying about their goals.

Because Hamas is counting on the rest of the world to blame Israel for responding the way they are responding right now.

Because Hamas knows that there are hundreds of millions of useful idiots all around the world, if not billions, who hate the Jews so much that they will give Hamas a pass on anything, including bare naked terrorism.

Even in 2024.
