There is no such thing as a "hate crime". I remember when they rolled this out decades ago. Now we are seeing the end result as they extended it to "hate speech". A crime is a crime no matter who commits it or who the victim is. Having different or more severe penalties for a "hate crime" values peoples lives differently which is immoral.
