Miscellaneous picks and pans....

APV "Byron" is a two-parter showing what a useless human being Byron was (which he admits himself several times) apart from his gift with words. Stars Jonny Lee Miller from "Elementary" and many familiar faces.

HBO "The Regime" is just weird. We gave it a half-hour since Kate Winslet is in it. Seems to be a parody of something or other, but we weren't going to stick around for multiple episodes of annoying people.

Just started "Confessions of Frannie Langton" on APV Britbox, a 4-parter that looks very interesting after one episode. A Jamaican slave is given to a household where the master and mistress are murdered soon after. naturally, she is the prime suspect.

"The Electrical Life of Louis Wain" is an unusual movie on APV based on a true story about an eccentric artist and his odd/tragic life. Bernard Cumberbatch does his usual exceptional job.
