Will something like it make it to the U.S. market? Again, probably not. I can't see any self-respecting American wanting to drive something that cheap and unreliable

Remember the 1973 oil embargo?

I had to drive from the Seattle area to Pullman (WSU) back in the day and it sucked. My 1967 Mercury Cougar GT only got about 16 MPG at 70 MPH and gas prices exploded along with a drop in speed limits to 55 MPH.

Early 1960's Japanese cars were pathetic. But they improved quality rapidly.

The Japanese car manufactures were in the right place at the right time. Americans started snapping them up and left Detroit struggling to build efficient cars....

Now the next inflection point has arrived.

BEV's

So if Americans want to buy gas guzzlers... go for it!

China will be manufacturing BEV's down in Mexico shortly.

Detroit had better not ignore reality that's coming fast.

German manufacturer are terrified as they should be.

The cash cow that supports their country is automobile manufacturing. ICE

Exports to the world..

Going...going... G
