SYNCRONYS FILLS STRATEGIC EXECUTIVE POSITION

Culver City, CA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 18, 1998--Syncronys Softcorp SYCR today announced the appointment of Nancy Mohler to Vice President, Marketing & Product Management. Ms. Mohler reports to Daniel G. Taylor, Executive Vice President, Marketing, and is responsible for product management and coordinating integrated product launches into the domestic retail channel as well as Syncronys' newly created OEM, Direct, On-line and International channels.
Nancy Mohler joins Syncronys from Quarterdeck Corporation QDEK , where she was Senior Director, Product Management. In that capacity she was responsible for managing Quarterdeck's top performing products, including CleanSweep, Procomm and Partition-it.
Ms. Mohler, who holds an MBA in marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, brings to Syncronys more than 15 years of high-tech marketing experience, after having established a strong foundation in marketing packaged goods. Ms. Mohler's broad-based product management and marketing experience includes corporate and consulting positions with Lucasfilm, Atari, Ashton-Tate and The Seven-Up Company.
